A 55-Bore Percussion Box-Lock Turn-Over Pocket Pistol, And Another Of 40-Bore The First Signed Cooper's, Lynn, Both Mid-19th Century The first with hand-rotated turn-off barrels each engraved around the muzzle and with a foliate scroll on each side between the breeches (nipples incomplete), action decorated en suite and signed in capitals on one side, engraved safety-catch behind the dolphin hammer, folding trigger, chequered figured rounded butt with engraved rounded butt-cap, the latter with foliate engraved hinged circular butt-trap cover, and diamond-shaped vacant silver escutcheon, Birmingham proof marks; the second of similar form, with hand-rotated barrel-block in one piece (one nipple missing), side-hammer with safety-catch, plain trigger-guard, and chequered rounded butt with vacant white-metal escutcheon (worn and some pitting overall), London and Birmingham proof marks (2) 6.3 cm. and 8 cm. barrels For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
