An English Civil War Period Pikeman's Pot Helmet Mid-17th Century With rounded two-piece skull with low turned comb and encircled around the base with dome-headed lining rivets, the downturned brim struck with crowned 'A' of the Armourers Company on one side, and with turned border followed by dome-headed lining rivets and an incised line (one peak with patched repair, old pitting overall); together with a reproduction German comb morion in late 16th century style, the base of the skull and ear-pieces with brass-capped rivets, and with brass plume-pipe at the rear; and a reproduction 'Spanish' cabasset in late 16th century style, the base of the almond-shaped skull encircled by a row of dome-headed lining rivets (3) 21 cm., 36 cm. and 28.5 cm. high For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
