Cased William Evans 12-Gauge Side by Side Shotgun, London, England, 1928. Serial number 15192, 30 in. nitro proofed blued steel barrels engraved 'WILLIAM EVANS' and '63, PALL MALL, ST. JAMES'S, LONDON' with textured rib; foliate scroll engraved frame engraved 'WILLIAM EVANS'; walnut stock with checkered wrist and rubber butt plate; leather covered oak case lined in red felt with William Evans label on the inside of the lid, cleaning rod, serial numbered screwdriver, oiler, chamber cleaning brush and two William Evans shot shell folding knives. Length of pull 14 3/4, overall lg. 47 1/4 in. Chamber 2 3/4 in. Minimum left barrel wall thickness .027 in. Minimum right barrel wall thickness .025 in. Left choke .714 in. Right choke .723 in. **Successful bidder must arrange pickup/transfer through a federal firearms licensee.** Condition: Barrel bluing shows subtle thinning at the muzzle, bore is bright; frame shows only a subtle trace of case coloring, trigger guard is re-blued; stock has minor wear, dings and dents; action functions properly.
