A GROUP OF FOUR CRYSTAL AND GLASS SNUFF BOTTLES 19th century Comprising: a rock crystal bottle of tall cylindrical form with the waisted neck supporting three loose ring handles, all raised on a rounded, well-hollowed foot, turquoise and coral-inset stopper; a smoky crystal bottle naturalistically formed as a melon, the green stopper forming the stem; a red-overlay glass 'qilong' snuff bottle; and a white glass ribbed snuff bottle, all with stoppers 9cm (3 1/2in) high (8). Footnotes: 十九世紀 水晶及料胎鼻煙壺 一組四件 Provenance: an English private collection, listed in a valuation report compiled by Robert W.L. Kleiner & Co Ltd, 8 August 2013.
