A George III silver Neo Classical ewer Richard Morton & Co, Sheffield 1775 Vase form with waisted neck and shaped bead rim, with engraved crest, the welled hinged cover domed to the centre with stylised artichoke finial, the tapering curved body applied with a double beaded band centred with acanthus leaf motifs below the neck, broad drapes and tassels below above and lower band of upright acanthus leaves, on a pedestal stem and square base with a band of acanthus leaf motifs all raised on ball feet, with ivory scroll handle, height 31cm, weight total 21.1oz.
