Three Reproduction Pot Helmets Comprising an harquebusier's pot helmet in English style of the second quarter of the 17th century, of rust patinated iron, with rounded two-piece skull with low turned comb flanked by incised lines, the back of the skull with pierced plume-holder above three downward-lapping neck lames and bluntly-pointed bottom plate with lines en suite, the latter with recessed border pierced with lining holes and with a row of dome-headed rivets, pivoted pointed fall and pierced cheek-pieces also en suite; a pot helmet, painted black and of similar form to the last; and another in continental style, with two-piece skull embossed with three converging ribs over each side, neck-guard of four upward-lapping lames, riveted peak pierced for an adjustable bar-nasal secured by a wing-headed screw, and ear-pieces each pierced with a circular arrangement of holes, the main edges turned and crumped, and with dome-headed lining rivets (rust patinated) (3) 27 cm., 30 cm. and 26 cm. high Footnotes: The first appears to be a copy of which original examples are in the Royal Armouries, Leeds (inv. no II. 159), the York Castle Museum (Acc.
